Strategic HR Partner

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to various departments, ensuring seamless execution of HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Staffing:
    • Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive pool of candidates.
    • Evaluate competitive compensation benchmarking to ensure fairness and equity.
    • Coordinate the entire recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
    • Conduct interviews and collaborate with department managers to make informed hiring decisions.
  • Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:
    • Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
    • Coordinate with various departments to ensure all necessary equipment and access are taken care of during onboarding and offboarding.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to onboarding and offboarding.
  • Employee Policies and Procedures:
    • Draft, review, and update employee policies and procedures to align with changing legal requirements and company values.
    • Ensure that HR policies are effectively communicated and understood by all employees, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
    • Handle employee relations and address concerns in accordance with company policies, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Establishing Company Culture:
    • Uphold and promote the company's core values, mission, and culture, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, driving a culture of innovation and excellence.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment, celebrating diversity and promoting collaboration.
  • Ensuring Employee Satisfaction:
    • Collect feedback from employees regularly and strategize actionable items to drive continuous improvement.
    • Coordinate team-building activities and effective communication channels, promoting open dialogue and collaboration.
    • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and provide guidance on conflict resolution, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
    • Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement strategies, driving a culture of inclusivity and respect.
    • Ensure defined employee NPS score is met, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs internally and externally, ensuring upskilling and reskilling of employees.
    • Facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics and compliance matters, promoting a culture of learning and growth.
    • Support employees in their career growth and skill enhancement, driving a culture of self-improvement and empowerment.
  • Performance Management:
    • Oversee the performance management process, including regular performance evaluations, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
    • Provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues and improvement plans, promoting a culture of accountability and responsibility.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring fairness and equity.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations related to employee benefits, staying up-to-date with changing laws and regulations.
  • Legal & Compliance:
    • Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
    • Assist in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations, driving a culture of compliance and risk management.

Administrative Support:

  • Handle administrative tasks related to HR functions, such as maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and managing benefits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Assist with budget planning and management for HR-related expenses, driving fiscal responsibility and prudence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, demonstrating academic excellence and a solid foundation in HR principles.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, with a significant focus on technical recruitment or experience in the tech industry, showcasing expertise and industry-specific knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of local labor laws and regulations in India, and ability to learn quickly for other jurisdictions, driving adaptability and flexibility.
  • Experience in managing HR functions such as compliance, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and administration, demonstrating proficiency and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, promoting strong relationships and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take initiative, and ownership of projects, driving autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, promoting efficiency and effectiveness in HR operations.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools, ensuring technology-enabled solutions and streamlined processes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information, upholding the highest standards of discretion and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience working with engineering and development teams, showcasing expertise and industry-specific knowledge.
