About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Department Manager to oversee the daily operations of our department and staff members. This is a key leadership role that requires exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management or finance, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. They will be responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating employees, as well as developing and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures.

In addition to their leadership skills, the successful candidate will have strong technical competence, including analytical, interpretive, and explanatory abilities. They will also possess influencing and negotiating skills, personal credibility, integrity, and approachability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Administrative Systems: Develop and improve administrative systems, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with staff members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and information exchange.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement changes to improve processes and outcomes.
