Job Overview

The Senior FP&A Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving business performance through high-quality financial planning and analysis. This individual is responsible for creating detailed budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing accurate and comprehensive budget plans for Supply Chain units.
  • Monitoring cost development and performing cost centre controlling to support budget holders in managing their financial responsibilities.
  • Contribution to month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of accruals, reconciliations, and financial commentary.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal control requirements, corporate policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Supply Chain, and Commercial Operations.
  • Development of cost tracking and reporting using ERP and/or BI tools.
  • Improvement of data quality across operational and financial systems.
  • Creation of cost-per-activity insights (e.g., cost per product, cost per delivery).
Qualifications and Skills
  • Academic degree or equivalent diploma in Economics or Finance.
  • CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting certification is beneficial.
  • 6-10 years of experience working on similar positions in FP&A or relevant fields.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong intercultural understanding.
  • Solid experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong commercial finance skills, including business case preparation and performance analysis using business KPIs.
  • Proficiency in preparing management reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and SAP BI tools is advantageous.
Requirements

Experience with planning and forecasting tools such as Anaplan is desirable.
