Chief Financial Strategist

The Finance Manager/Controller plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of an organization, ensuring accurate reporting and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models to inform business decisions.
- Analyze financial performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with local and federal financial regulations.
- Lead and mentor finance and accounting teams, develop team skills, and improve departmental efficiency.
- Provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making and evaluate financial risks to develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Minimum 5 years in bookkeeping/accounting.
- At least 2 years in management budgeting and projections.
- Proven track record in managerial or controller positions.
- Cash flow management experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks online) and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Remote work arrangement.
- Night shift (EST).
- Weekly pay schedule.
This is a mid-senior level position requiring full-time commitment.
