">Goods Movement Coordinator">

This role is responsible for assisting in the completion of the Logistics process in a safe and efficient manner. The associate will develop and use their knowledge and experience of IKEA operations, including machinery and equipment, to achieve high product availability in the store.

">Responsibilities">
  • Perform effectively the goods movement operation tasks in assigned area using available IKEA systems and equipment to achieve an efficient process and data integrity;
  • Contribute to an optimized daily goods movement operation by working in a lean and cost-conscious way;
  • Support the agreed goals of the Goods Movement Team and be involved in the goal-setting process of your team;
  • Comply with IKEA health, safety, and security guidelines and support colleagues in preventing incidents.
">Requirements">
  • Have an interest in home furnishing and the IKEA product range;
  • Have at least 1-2 years' experience working in Warehouse/Logistics operations, preferably in the retail industry;
  • Know how to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to make use of time efficiently;
  • Have good attention to detail to achieve accuracy in all work;
  • Be a quick learner and know how to ask questions when something is unclear;
  • Be flexible in approach to daily tasks and adapt to unpredictable situations;
  • Enjoy working as part of the team but also work independently.
