Job Description

This is a procurement support role that involves managing purchase orders, tracking inventory, and collaborating with vendors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work well under pressure.

The role requires effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in purchasing software and systems is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase Order Management:
    • Email & Vendor Communication: Respond to supplier emails promptly, communicate regularly with vendors, and oversee AI automation for vendor communication.
    • Purchase Order Tracking & Updates: Track and follow up on all purchase orders, add detailed status notes, collaborate with the procurement lead, escalate any order discrepancies, and update PO changes in both SOS Inventory (ERP system) and Didero.
  • Data Accuracy & System Checks: Verify and prevent errors, receive and document materials, and maintain pricing matrices.
  • Inventory Reporting & Tracking: Generate weekly inventory reports, identify discrepancies, monitor quarantine or pending transfer materials, and collaborate with warehouse and receiving teams.
  • Logistics Coordination: Partner with warehouse and receiving teams, communicate with 3PL providers, schedule product pickups, provide relevant pickup details, address and resolve scheduling conflicts or delivery delays.
  • Adhoc Project Support: Assist in various procurement and inventory-related projects, complete data entry tasks, support production paperwork needs, and update bills of materials.
