Investment Banking Associate

Elevate-and-delegate seeks a highly capable Investment Banking Associate to support deal execution across M&A and capital markets. This role offers hands-on experience with seasoned founders, leadership opportunities, and a collaborative culture that values work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research, including competitor analysis, industry research, and data-driven insights into niche subject areas.
  • Develop financial models and valuation analyses, using raw financial data to create transaction structuring, working capital pegs, and LBO models.
  • Create client-facing materials for M&A and capital markets transactions, including strategic presentations and confidential information memorandums.
  • Collaborate with senior team members and clients to execute transactions and assess strategic alternatives.
  • Manage execution processes, ensuring seamless transaction workflows and high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in investment banking or comparable roles (top-tier consulting or sell-side equity research with relevant transaction exposure considered).
  • Strong academic credentials preferred.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and financial modeling, including LBO, 3-statement modeling, and detailed business plan forecasting.
  • Ability to adapt, use new tools, and find creative solutions to aid efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills, engaging effectively with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Highly driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and operates with independence.
