Production Support Analyst Role

Citi, a leading financial services institution, seeks an experienced Production Support Analyst to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing critical support to Enterprise Critical Applications Optima and CitiRisk Credit during APAC hours.

Job Description

The successful applicant will provide Level 2 Production Support on Risk Applications used by Credit Risk and Market Risk, including Calc engines, Aggregation/Processing systems and various reporting tools.

This role requires the ability to drive efficiencies through process automation and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

The candidate will also be responsible for providing production runs for internal and regulatory reporting and stressed scenarios, such as Basel III and CCAR.

  • Investigate and explain issues when risk metrics are not in line with business expectations.
  • Collaborate with Risk Reporting teams using Cognos, MicroStrategy, and adhoc queries to decode complex queries and maintain data integrity in report outputs.
  • Perform Incident and Problem management, including prioritization, root cause analysis, escalation, and post-mortems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and event correlation for all tickets, implement approved fixes, and document preventive measures.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have more than 1 year of experience in a technical environment.

They should also have an understanding of production monitoring tools, such as Geneos, Autowatch, AppDynamics, etc.

An undergraduate degree in computer science or a related field is required.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems.

  • Experience in a production support role dealing with business and technology users.
  • Experience handling complex technical issues in application support.
  • Strong organizational skills and teamwork; willingness to learn; good analytical skills; proactive in solutioning.
