Job Description

Support clinical trials by recruiting and screening volunteers for studies in a remote, night shift role. The primary goal is to identify potential participants who meet the eligibility criteria for study participation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Screening potential volunteers via telephone using prepared questionnaires to determine preliminary eligibility for study participation.
  • Scheduling consent/screening appointments for volunteers who pass the preliminary phone recruiting interview.
  • Using a database to contact previous volunteers and successfully recruit them for studies.
  • Ensuring all calls are answered promptly and with the highest degree of customer service and professionalism.
  • Conducting demographic and medical history phone interviews with volunteers using prepared questionnaires.
  • Accurately recording and reviewing demographic information and medical history for all volunteers while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Scheduling volunteers for further screening and/or consent appointments if they meet the criteria.
  • Performing administrative duties, such as data entry, to support the recruitment process.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a Life Science or Healthcare-related field (e.g., Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Technology, Biology, etc.).
  • Preferably, experience working in a contact center environment that provides knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
