Job Title:

Project Development Specialist

A project development specialist is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to quality and safety standards, and alignment with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze engineering designs and specifications to ensure compliance with project standards and regulations.
  • Oversee daily operations at project sites, ensuring work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams to facilitate project execution and resolve issues.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, logs, and correspondence.
  • Implement quality assurance protocols to ensure construction processes and materials meet industry standards.
  • Monitor project expenditures and provide financial forecasts and reporting to support budgetary decisions.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Significant years of experience in project engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex engineering issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Licensed Engineer preferred.
  • The position involves both office and fieldwork, requiring travel to construction sites.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
