Job Overview

  • Lead projects and tasks as task lead
  • Collaborate with senior and principal engineers within the structures team to deliver assigned tasks and projects
  • Work with other stream leaders and principals to provide structures input where required
  • Mentor junior engineers in skills development and capability building

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure team operations comply with relevant requirements and identify potential risks
  • Manage resource plans and budget to ensure cost-effective resourcing for operations and projects
  • Assist senior engineers on projects by engaging in the process from start to finish, learning procedures, and completing GTDSs, Case Studies, and reports
  • Collaborate with EIC Activities and CIMIC OpCo Business Streams/Units to maximize value offerings and learning
  • Support EICA communication protocols and promote a consistent message to external stakeholders
  • Identify safety issues at OpCo project sites
  • Comply with EIC Activities Safety and Health Management Plan and Quality Manual
  • Lead continuous improvement through safety and sustainability leadership, innovation, high performance, and accountability
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with CIMIC Group and EIC Activities' Principles and Codes of Business Conduct
  • Communicate EIC's Core Purpose to direct reports, colleagues, and operational leaders
  • Foster relationships with external stakeholders for partnering, industry, and market/business development

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary Degree (Bachelor level) in Engineering (Civil)
  • Master's degree (Civil Engineering)
  • 5 years' experience in engineering consulting or construction industry
  • Exposure to multi-discipline engineering or construction delivery
  • Experience in working on major tenders
  • Experience in coordinating and delivering structures aspects of major multidisciplinary projects
  • Excellent engineering skills in structures engineering field
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
  • Business risk identification and mitigation skills
