Senior Structural Engineer

A highly skilled structural engineer is sought to lead our design team on a flexible, part-time basis.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who still loves the work but prefers fewer hours and no direct business development or staff management. The selected candidate will review, advise, and seal designs prepared by our skilled team of civil engineers and drafters, with final oversight from senior leadership.

  • Review geotechnical and structural calculations and drawings.
  • Serve as lead engineer for select projects in the U.S.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and high technical standards.
  • Support our design team with clear, practical feedback.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 12+ years of experience in geostructural or civil design.
  • Comfort reviewing work by international teams.
  • High integrity and a strong sense of stewardship.

This is an excellent opportunity for a semi-retired licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to leverage their expertise while enjoying a better work-life balance.
