Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our Risk Management Group as an Electronic Communications Surveillance Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical part in the day-to-day analysis of firm activity, including electronic communications and relevant trades.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing the daily/weekly volume of alerts and escalating matters of interest to a successful conclusion. Additionally, you will work with local and Global Surveillance teams to improve the quality of alerts generated and remove false positive findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake Electronic Communications and Voice surveillance to assist the wider Surveillance team
  • Manage the daily/weekly volume of alerts and escalate matters of interest
  • Work with local and Global Surveillance teams to improve alert quality and remove false positives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar field
  • 4+ years relevant experience in a compliance or regulatory role with a focus on detection and review of potential risks
  • Analytical and investigative mindset
  • High attention to detail and ability to interpret complex verbal information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
