Surveillance Specialist Role

As a Surveillance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the wider Surveillance team with day-to-day analysis of firm activity. Your responsibilities will include undertaking Electronic Communications and Voice surveillance to monitor and interpret communications and relevant trades.

Key aspects of your role will involve managing daily/weekly volumes of alerts, escalating matters of interest, and following up on issues to a successful conclusion. You will also work collaboratively with local and Global Surveillance teams to improve alert quality and reduce false positives.

Required for this position is a degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar, as well as relevant experience in compliance or regulatory roles focusing on detection and review of potential risks. Additionally, analytical and investigative skills are essential, along with high attention to detail and ability to interpret complex verbal information. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also necessary.
