About This Role

This position requires a meticulous and assertive professional to oversee eviction case preparation and filings from start to finish.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare legal documents including Notices, Summons & Complaints, Declarations and exhibits, Motions for default, writs of restitution, stipulations.
  • Manage timelines and workflows using our in-house case management system.
  • Coordinate process service with external providers.
  • File cases electronically (or by mail, where required) with courts across WA.
  • Prepare and track hearing schedules, filings, service affidavits.
  • Collaborate with our attorney for supervision and sign-off.
  • Maintain accurate records of all legal actions per property and tenant.
  • Track expenses and billings for all cases.
  • Continuously improve templates and SOPs for consistency and efficiency.

Requirements
  • Must-Have Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in litigation support, paralegal work, or eviction processing.
  • Excellent written English (legal writing and email communication).
  • Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings and assemble court-ready documents.
  • Strong familiarity with U.S. legal systems or forms, especially landlord-tenant law.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning internal software tools.
  • Detail-oriented and organized under tight deadlines.
