Job Overview:

The role of an Associate Category Manager entails supporting and collaborating with procurement teams to manage, review, and negotiate contracts.

This position will involve managing a group of suppliers, collecting spend and performance data, reviewing and categorizing spend data, initiating business reviews, and delivering reports using various tools.

The Associate Category Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate classification of suppliers and spend amounts, coordinating PR/PO approvals, and working on managed program invoice coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategies to improve procurement processes and increase efficiency.
  • Managing supplier relationships through negotiation and communication.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate records of supplier spend and performance data.

This role will also involve contract management, including contract expiration reporting, uploading contracts to the online repository, and routing agreements for electronic signature.
