Purpose of the Position:This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the pastry kitchen while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and be able to effectively manage team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the pastry kitchen.
- Maintain consistency in dish preparation according to standard recipes.
- Ensure adherence to performance standards and maintain high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen area.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role with progressive career advancement in kitchen operations.
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen management systems and computer applications.
- Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Comprehensive understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to work well under pressure.
