The Head Baker leads the Bread & Pastry Department, ensuring efficient operations and the production of high-quality baked goods. The Head Baker is responsible for maintaining an organized workflow, upholding company standards, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Head Baker collaborates with the Executive Chef to fulfill pastry requirements, oversees baking processes, and ensures consistency in recipes and methods. Through leadership and expertise, this role contributes to delivering exceptional pastry offerings while maintaining operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Completes the daily consumption requirements
  • Accountable for daily production
  • Manage needed supplies and inventory levels
  • Constantly strive to upgrade the food quality and presentation
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and allergens
  • Hold daily meetings with the pastry and kitchen admin team
  • Protect customers from dangers and ensure that they receive the weight and quality of food for their value of money
  • Set clear quality control procedures
  • Conduct staff training programs
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Restaurant & Institution Management or Culinary or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of extensive experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of best and latest cooking practices
  • Proficient in MS Office Programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Amenable to work onsite in Muntinlupa City
