Purchasing Manager Job Description

As a seasoned Purchasing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the department's success by ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

  • Negotiate and agree on contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contract files and supplier performance metrics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement processes across the organization.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement, identifying opportunities to leverage technology and innovation to drive business growth.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles, preferably in a similar industry.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and other procurement software tools.
