Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Purchasing Associate to support our procurement team. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced sourcing specialists on various projects, developing their knowledge of the procurement process, commercial management, and contract negotiation.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the organization of Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, identifying potential providers, managing relationships with tactical providers, analyzing supplier performances, and maintaining contact with clients and suppliers on specific contract procurement matters.

You will also support the delivery of procurement services into the business, understand the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process and supplier costs across the organization, and develop basic knowledge about cross-functional work.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the procurement strategy and ability to follow it
  • Basic knowledge of the stakeholder community within the work perimeter
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders involved in procurement activities
