Fire Sprinkler System Designer/Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler System Designer/Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our remote team, you will be responsible for designing and estimating fire protection systems for various commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD, Revit, and MEP software.
  • Estimate project costs and prepare take-offs using Planswift and Excel.
  • Ensure designs meet building codes and applicable standards (NFPA, etc.).
  • Review architectural and mechanical plans to develop system layouts.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients remotely.
  • Use Fire Elite or equivalent software for hydraulic calculations and system optimization.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Planswift, Excel, and Fire Elite.
  • Knowledge of MEP design tools.
  • Strong familiarity with building codes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • At least 2 years of experience in fire sprinkler design and estimation.
