Job Description

Data Solutions Expert

We are seeking a skilled professional to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions that align with business needs. This role involves working with clients to maximize their opportunities by providing expert guidance on data architecture, integration, and analysis.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data engineering, database development, or architecture, with proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and lakehouse architecture. They will also have expertise in master data management using Profisee software and the management of data estate using Purview software.

Azure services such as ADF, Fabric, Synapse, Data Lake, and Purview will be used to deliver robust data solutions. The successful candidate will also have knowledge of Airbyte, DBT, and data virtualization, and familiarity with accounting or financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Architecture & Storage: Design robust data models, flows, and storage using Microsoft Fabric and Azure SQL; Manage master data with Profisee and integrate with existing systems.
  2. Data Integration & Transformation: Build and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related tools; Ingest data from APIs and external systems into the Azure ecosystem.
  3. Testing, Monitoring & Optimization: Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all stages; Troubleshoot performance issues and fine-tune data pipelines.
  4. Advanced Analytics & Reporting: Develop OLAP cubes and tabular models with SSAS; Write complex MDX and DAX queries for data analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or architecture.
  • Proficiency with SQL, NoSQL, and lakehouse architecture.
  • Master data management using Profisee software.
  • Management of data estate using Purview software.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure services: ADF, Fabric, Synapse, Data Lake, Purview, etc.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Airbyte, DBT, or data virtualization.
  • Familiarity with accounting or financial services environments.
