Job Description:

  • Prepare case files and Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) assigned in the client portal.
  • Review medical records, creating a synopsis to answer medical opinion questions based on the veteran's medical history.
  • Remotely assist medical providers during scheduled appointments:
    • Access and prepare apps on the medical provider's computer prior to the appointment.
    • Conduct remote interviews via video or telephone conference.
    • Transcribe medical histories based on veteran responses.
    • Assist with documenting physical examination findings in DBQs.
    • Complete DBQ spreadsheets after each appointment.
    • Meet with medical providers to discuss cases and determine final diagnoses.
    • Transfer data from DBQ spreadsheets to the client portal.
    • Submit DBQs and respond to queries/addendum reports.
    • Coordinate with medical providers and team members regarding daily appointments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a BSN degree and an active PHRN license. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with veterans, medical providers, and colleagues.
