Job Overview

Gartner is seeking a finance technology specialist to provide business insights and strategic advice to CFO clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance department roles or consulting, with a strong background in cloud ERP software and AI capabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with CFOs and senior finance leaders to build buy-in for finance technology projects, including cloud ERP upgrades. They will have a deep understanding of the challenges CFOs face during cloud ERP transformation and be able to deliver high-quality advice through presentations and discussions with clients.

We are looking for an expert who can stay ahead of the curve on cloud ERP trends, innovations, and vendor capabilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be adept at writing insightful content, and have the ability to quickly build rapport and gain client trust.

The role requires 12+ years of experience working in finance or consulting, with a strong knowledge of cloud ERP software, AI capabilities, and finance technology trends. A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent certification, is preferred. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in finance technology, advising CFO clients and publishing research on topics such as cloud ERP transformation, AI in ERP, and finance technology strategy.
  • Work with a collaborative team to build authoritative research and advice that addresses the priorities and challenges of CFOs.
  • Deliver high-quality advice through presentations and discussions with clients.
  • Remain up-to-date on cloud ERP trends, innovations, and vendor capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in finance department roles or consulting, with a strong background in cloud ERP software and AI capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud ERP software, AI capabilities, and finance technology trends.
