Cloud Technical Specialist

Are you a skilled technical professional seeking a challenging role in cloud support? We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Cloud Technical Specialist.

Job Summary:

As a Cloud Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers. This includes investigating and resolving complex customer issues related to cloud services, collaborating with internal teams to identify solutions, and ensuring timely resolution of customer complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to cloud services, including troubleshooting and escalating issues as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering and product management, to identify and implement solutions to customer complaints
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and other documentation to ensure shared knowledge and lessons learned are available to customers
  • Participate in regular meetings and discussions with internal teams to stay up-to-date on new technologies and developments
  • Contribute to the development of new features and products that meet the evolving needs of our customers

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Professional written and spoken English with excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path
  • Track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results
  • Hands-on experience in supporting Linux systems, including virtualization, containers, storage technologies, and networking
  • Advanced troubleshooting experience, including ability to navigate stack traces and logs, and advise on next steps
  • Programming fundamentals in any language
  • Extensive Customer support experience is key, with strong communication skills, customer empathy, and problem-solving abilities
