We are seeking a Cybersecurity and Network Expert to join our team at Worldwide Healthstaff Solutions. This individual will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT infrastructures, as well as providing top-notch support to our end-users.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with network troubleshooting, Microsoft 365, PowerShell scripting, Intune, and Sophos firewalls. Familiarity with IT asset management, procurement processes, CCTV systems, and door access controls is also desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Management:
    • Configure, maintain, and monitor network devices, including switches, routers, ISP modems, core switches, and firewalls.
    • Support server environments to ensure high availability and security.
    • Perform regular updates, backups, and patch management for all infrastructure components.
  • Tier 1 IT Support:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for basic technical issues related to software applications.
    • Resolve common issues such as password resets, account configurations, and user onboarding.
    • Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 2/3 support or relevant teams.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service while troubleshooting user-reported issues.
  • Network Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
    • Proactively monitor and diagnose network performance issues, including internet fluctuations and connectivity disruptions.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective measures to improve performance and reliability.
    • Collaborate with ISP technicians and other third-party providers to resolve persistent issues and optimize network services.
    • Utilize network monitoring tools to detect, report, and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Firewall and Security Administration:
    • Act as the subject matter expert for Sophos firewalls, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
    • Implement and manage firewall rules, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
    • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry standards.
  • Microsoft 365 and Intune Administration:
    • Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including email, Teams, and SharePoint.
    • Use Intune to configure, deploy, and manage devices and applications.
    • Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
  • IT Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
    • Monitor IT infrastructure to detect and resolve issues before they impact operations.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Asset Management and Procurement:
    • Manage the entire IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, tracking, and disposal.
    • Develop and maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware, software, and licenses.
    • Collaborate with vendors to procure IT equipment and services, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Software Support:
    • Provide basic setup, configuration, and troubleshooting support for users.
    • Develop and maintain user guides and FAQs for supported applications.
    • Liaise with software vendors for advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • CCTV and Door Access Systems (Optional):
    • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems and door access control systems.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security and surveillance systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
    • Generate regular reports on infrastructure performance, security incidents, and asset status.
