Filta is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the Merchandise Assistant role. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in retail, with expertise in Shopify, Excel, and retail systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory administration, including POs, SKUs, barcoding, pricing, and allocations
  • Bolster relationships with suppliers while coordinating replenishments and inter-store transfers
  • Evaluate stock accuracy through stocktakes, variance reporting, and adjustments
  • Create and maintain sales reports, WIP listings, and forecasting spreadsheets
  • Support merchandise planning and, where applicable, manage listings on third-party marketplaces (Amazon, eBay)
  • Collaborate with teams to respond to store requests and communicate stock movement updates
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable retail business
  • Hands-on experience working with Shopify
  • Strong Excel skills for reporting, analysis, and data management
  • Knowledge of retail point-of-sale systems
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • A results-driven mindset with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
