About This Role

This is an opportunity to take ownership in a new role and advance their career with a well-established multinational financial services firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepares and files various tax returns, including income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and other internal revenue taxes, as well as local business permit filings and renewals.
  • Tax Schedules and Documentation: Develops tax schedules and documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring alignment with the general ledger and compliance with audit requirements.
  • Collaboration with Accounting Team: Collaborates with the Accounting Team to ensure accurate tax treatment and application of current tax laws and regulations.
  • Tax Development Updates: Keeps updated on tax developments and prepares well-structured working papers requiring minimal revisions during review.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Tax Advisory/Compliance
  • Knowledgeable in using BIR's eFPS and eBIRForms
  • Understanding of financial reporting is beneficial
  • Familiarity in PEZA compliance and reporting
