Account Officer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Account Officer to join our team. As an Account Officer, you will play a crucial role in achieving loan volume targets while maintaining profitability and sound credit quality.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Soliciting microfinance loan accounts to meet business needs of customers
  • Analyzing overall loan applicants' qualifications to determine the feasibility of granting loans
  • Initiating credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts
  • Coordinating with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A graduate degree from any 4-year course
  2. Excellent selling, communication, and customer service skills
  3. Basic mathematical knowledge
  4. High integrity
  5. Familiarity with computer software including word processing and spreadsheets
  6. Fieldwork and sales experience in Microfinance is an advantage
  7. The ability to drive a motorcycle is preferred
