Financial Analyst Job Description

Spreetail is an ecommerce company propelling brands to increase their global market share and improve operational costs. We're building one of the fastest-growing ecommerce companies in history.

As a Financial Analyst, you'll play a key role in driving financial success by managing accounts receivable, improving cash flow, and implementing process improvements that make a real impact. In this role, you'll review billing statements, provide insights to leadership, and develop strategies that influence critical business metrics like margin, revenue growth, and cash flow.

Key responsibilities include reviewing weekly and monthly billing statements, maintaining a healthy AR aging report, delivering accurate timely reporting to Accounting and leadership, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate credit risk, improve cash flow, and identify opportunities for process improvements or automation within AR.

You'll also provide insights, recommendations, and ad hoc reporting to senior management and executive leadership based on AR analysis. Demonstrating strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines is essential.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or 5+ years of experience in an accounting/finance role, with prior exposure to accounts receivable management or financial analysis preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting, with strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Experience driving process improvements and leveraging automation or new technologies to increase efficiency.

Fluency in Mandarin, with strong written and verbal communication skills, is highly desirable. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a passion for organization, collaboration, and seeing tasks through to completion is essential.

This position requires remote work and includes a remote setup with a 4th generation or higher processor, at least 4GB RAM, Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system, and a dual monitor setup.
