Architectural Drafter

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled professional to prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and documentation in support of architectural projects.

About the Role:
  • Purpose: Produce detailed architectural drawings and specifications using Revit.
  • Main Responsibilities: Prepare construction detailing and spec sheets with a high level of accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs.
  • Revision: Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all drawings comply with project requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Document Management: Maintain and organize project documentation for efficient access and reference.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on all drafting work to ensure precision and compliance with design intent.
Requirements:
  • Degree: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience using Revit for drafting and detailing.
  • Skills: Extensive experience in construction detailing and preparing spec sheets. Proficiency in Revit and other drafting tools such as AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of architectural design and construction processes. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Standards: Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams.
Preferred Skills:
  • Project Management: Experience with project management software for tracking design progress.
  • Sustainability: Familiarity with sustainable design and green building practices.
  • Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
