A key role exists within our organisation for an astute and commercially-minded Finance Director to head up our finance team and provide strategic support to senior management. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of the finance function and developing strong business planning, financial control and reporting to maximise efficiencies and opportunities for growth.

This is a high-profile position that requires a highly skilled and experienced financial leader who can drive analysis of key management information and maintain the financial sustainability of the organisation.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and directing the finance team to deliver accurate and regular management information to the Board and departments and divisions.

• Developing and leading the evolution of the Company's financial reporting processes and business systems.

• Supporting the MD and the company in budgetary planning and forecasting processes.

• Ensuring all financial accounting and administration functions, internal controls and reconciliations are performed properly.

• Producing and interpreting management accounts.

• Ensuring the year end audit is performed properly.

• Generating and maintaining group cash flow and budgeting requirements.

• Ensuring compliance with all tax and statutory matters.

• Financial planning (forecasting and budgeting).

• Reporting of budget variances and cost control.

• Training and mentoring.

Key qualifications and skills for this role include:

• An accounting qualification, ACA/ACCA or CIMA.

• 5 to 7 years post-qualification experience in a financial management role (Financial Manager or FD).

• Strong proficiency in financial software and databases.

• Experience working with financial forecasting software is a strong advantage.
