Job Description

The role of Cash Apps Specialist is a fast-paced and dynamic position that involves proactive communication with customers to facilitate timely payments and maintain positive relationships while ensuring adherence to the company's collections policies and procedures.

This specialist will be responsible for managing a high-volume multi-currency ledger, developing and maintaining customer relationships, handling queries and investigations, and allocating cash effectively. The successful candidate will also ensure all document processes are followed and DOA's approvals are adhered to at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a high-volume multi-currency ledger to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships both internal and external, while effectively enforcing agreed terms
  • Handling queries and investigations, liaising with other departments to ensure swift resolutions and efficient OTC flow
  • Allocating cash effectively, identifying payments, and resolving short paid reasons within month payment received

Work hours are in the UK time zone, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM BST (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM Manila Time).

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of proven track record in cash collecting in a busy global AR team
  • Tenacious and professionally assertive approach
  • Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with accounting systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Strong written and oral communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills and relationship building
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workload involving multiple tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines
