Job Role Overview:

The Senior Accountant will play a crucial part in delivering compliant, timely, and accurate financial services to clients.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Manage and expand the client portfolio through excellent service delivery
  • Build long-term relationships with clients by providing proactive support
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements and tax returns for various entities
  • Handle calculations and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and FBT returns
  • Offer technical advice to clients on accounting matters and provide a range of services to meet their needs
  • Prepare tax returns for individuals, including those with rental properties, capital gains, and sole traders
  • Submit Super Guarantee Charge Statements and TPAR reports
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reports to stakeholders
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role within a professional services firm
  • Proficiency in key accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
