Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive review and analysis of existing business books and financial records
  • Provide expert guidance on the financial aspects of business transactions
  • Ensure full compliance with Australian tax regulations and requirements
  • Prepare and review tax returns in accordance with local, state, and federal tax laws

You will analyze financial statements and reports to identify optimization opportunities and mitigate potential risks. Deliver strategic advice to inform critical business decisions. Serve as the primary liaison with tax authorities and represent the company during any audit processes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA or ACCA certification strongly preferred
  • Proven experience working with Australian businesses and comprehensive knowledge of Australian tax compliance requirements
  • Qualified to practice accounting in Australia
  • Proficiency with accounting software, with Xero experience highly valued
