Job Role:

Chief Financial Strategist

The Chief Financial Strategist will be responsible for leading the company's financial operations and guiding long-term financial planning and performance.

  • Lead all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and treasury management
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to the executive team and board of directors
  • Manage cash flow, capital structure, and financing strategies to support business operations and expansion
  • Oversee financial audits, tax filings, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assess financial risks and opportunities, and provide guidance on cost reduction and profitability improvement
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor financial health and inform data-driven decision-making
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Partner with other executives on strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and corporate development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • 8–10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably including time as a CFO or VP of Finance
  • Deep understanding of corporate financial law, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and financial modeling
  • Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and risk management
  • Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)
  • Experience working with executive teams and boards, including investor relations
