Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing all accounting tasks pertaining to assigned properties, including preparing commercial billing, sending tenant statements, posting leases and receipts, and maintaining relationships with tenants and property management companies.
Main responsibilities include:
- Preparing commercial billing and sending timely tenant statements
- Posting leases, receipts, and making necessary reversals of charges
- Processing and posting tenant move-outs, updating rent rolls due to changes in unit size or number
- Ensuring current certificates of insurance (COI) are on file and up-to-date
- Posting of property management reports for commercial and office suites
This specialist will work closely with asset managers to collect delinquent accounts and oversee accounting processes related to property acquisition/disposition.
In addition, the specialist will prepare sales tax forms, submit payments for processing, and complete other projects and tasks assigned by accounting management.
Requirements include an Accounting degree, CPA license, 2-4 years of full-time accounting experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Solid organizational skills, prioritization, multi-tasking, effective communication, and teamwork abilities are essential for this role.
