Accounting Expert

This critical position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial data essential for supporting business operations and strategic growth.

The Accounting Expert will leverage their experience in construction and real estate industry, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and analytical skills to perform key accounting functions including project estimating and costing, contribute to financial reporting, and support process improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, adjusting entries, and accruals
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts
  • Track project/job costs and ensure costs are recorded to appropriate jobs or cost codes

Qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant is required
  • 2–5 years progressive accounting experience is required
  • Experience in inventory and manufacturing is also required

Additional requirements include proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, as well as strong organization, oral and written communication skills, and analytical skills with particular attention to detail.
