Global Revenue Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled revenue accountant to join our team. As a revenue accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the revenue recording process for self-service transactions and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Reconcile self-service revenue daily to ensure accuracy
- Review non-standard revenue contracts and assess accounting impact
- Implement revenue recognition processes using data tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Maintain key integrations between systems and validate integrated data before month-end close
- Perform reconciliations of revenue accounts in month-end close
- Own activities related to sales tax including reconciliation of payments, accrual JE posting, and reviewing returns as part of month-end close
- Experience working remotely in a distributed team environment
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably revenue accounting
- Understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to take ownership, multitask, and solve problems effectively
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with billing or quoting systems and ERP systems
- Basic knowledge of SQL scripting
