Job Overview

As a seasoned accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial integrity of our organization. Your expertise in revenue recognition and accounting principles will be instrumental in driving business growth and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operational and technical aspects of revenue recognition, including reviewing customer contracts, performing revenue allocations, maintaining revenue schedules, and supporting monthly and quarterly closes.
  • Assist in monthly revenue accounting close activities by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations, including those related to revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled receivables.
  • Review standard and non-standard contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP, ensuring ASC 606 compliance.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, revenue operations, and FP&A to obtain data and reporting for monthly revenue entries.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve internal process documentation for clarity and efficiency across teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or ACCA/CIMA qualification or progress toward certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in SaaS revenue accounting with a focus on ASC 606.
  • Proficiency with ERP and revenue tools (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, CPQ).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support both strategic and hands-on work.
