Job Overview

About the Accounting Associate Role: We are seeking an experienced professional to support our clients based in the US. As a key team member, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions.

This position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience in accounts payable processes. You will handle AP entries, reconcile invoices and statements, and respond to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately record accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
  • Verify invoice details, including amounts, terms, and payment instructions, before processing entries.
  • Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures for invoice processing and payment authorization.
  • Address customer inquiries related to invoice discrepancies, payment status, and account balances.
  • Provide prompt and courteous assistance to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular reconciliation of invoices and statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and payment records.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes, including AP entries, reconciling invoices, and statements.
