Job Description:

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for ensuring that all warranty-related matters are handled efficiently and effectively. This involves communicating with clients about breakdowns or accidents, providing reports of information, and collaborating with suppliers and staff to ensure vehicle repairs are undertaken within quoted costs and technical guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage warranty claims and provide detailed reports
  • Communicate with clients regarding breakdowns or accidents and ensure they are suitably informed of the repair process
  • Collaborate with suppliers and staff to ensure vehicle repairs are completed efficiently and within budget
  • Provide support to the department for conflict resolution and escalation
  • Coordinate vehicle registration activities
  • Assist with prioritization of client repairs tracking and follow-up
  • Assist clients and other departments with any vehicle-related inquiries
  • Find repair solutions balancing considerations for client satisfaction and business efficiency
  • Negotiate best possible outcomes for client satisfaction and resolve conflicts
  • Ensure accurate technical information is recorded in the company database
  • Minimise vehicle repair time by ensuring all warranty work is suitably covered under warranty provisions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical trade qualification or similar
  • Diploma or certificate-level qualification in business or tourism
  • At least 1-2 years of guest services or customer service experience
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Experience in handling client expectations and conflict
  • Supplier management experience
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and task prioritisation skills
  • Some automotive understanding or mechanical aptitude is an advantage
