Key responsibilities include diagnosing issues, repairing machinery and structures, performing minor building upkeep like painting and carpentry, managing tools and supplies, maintaining detailed maintenance logs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Inspection and Diagnosis:Regularly inspect buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify potential problems, malfunctions, or areas needing repair.
  • Preventive Maintenance:Implement routine maintenance tasks to prevent issues and ensure the smooth, continuous operation of facilities and equipment.
  • Repair and Installation:Perform various repairs on mechanical equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures, such as drywall, fixtures, or appliances.
  • General Upkeep:Handle cleaning, groundskeeping (e.g., mowing lawns, collecting trash), and other upkeep tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance and repair work performed, including supplies used and any ongoing issues.
  • Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all company safety regulations and local building codes, and ensure the proper functionality of safety systems, such as fire alarms and smoke detectors.
