Insurance Specialist Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to work in commercial insurance processing for property and casualty insurance. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing insurance policy applications, endorsements, renewals, certificates, and cancellations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Processing: Process new insurance policy applications, ensuring all required information and documentation are complete and accurate.
  • Policy Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations: Handle endorsements, renewals, and cancellations promptly and efficiently.
  • Compliance: Review policy applications for compliance with regulatory requirements.
Documentation Management
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files and policy records.
  • Ensure all policy documentation is properly scanned, filed, and stored.
  • Generate and distribute policy documents to clients and relevant parties.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
