Accounts Payable Professional

The ideal candidate for this position will oversee the processing and payment of invoices, manage vendor relationships, and maintain an up-to-date vendor database.

This role involves reviewing, verifying, and processing invoices for payment, as well as maintaining relationships with suppliers and resolving payment discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • Invoice Processing: Ensure accuracy in invoice review and verification.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth payment processes.
  • Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receipts to prevent errors.
  • Payment Processing: Coordinate payments to vendors via various methods.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on accounts payable activities.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to accounts payable, including disputes and missing documentation.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience or equivalent.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software.
  • Industry Specific Software/Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Excel and accounting software like QuickBooks or SAP.
  • In-depth understanding of accounts payable principles and standards.
  • High accuracy in financial records and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
