Overview

As a remote Design Desk Engineer, you will work independently on aligning technology with business outcomes. Your daily schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM EST. This is a contract position that requires you to have your own computer and stable internet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design tailored IT project proposals that meet client needs and align with industry best practices.
  • Source hardware, software, and services that balance cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Use tools like QuoteWerks and internal documentation systems to build solid solution designs.
  • Participate in internal and client-facing meetings to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Monitor project KPIs, help refine operational standards, and continually sharpen your technical skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree or technical training with relevant certifications.
  • Proven experience in an MSP or IT services environment.
  • Skilled in structured project planning and ticket lifecycle management.
  • Strong communication skills with a client-first mindset.
  • Technically curious, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
