Network Infrastructure Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the network infrastructure, ensuring connectivity solutions and disaster recovery exercises are in place to maintain the health of the network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with partners/suppliers to actively participate in daily network operations to ensure the stability of the network/voice infrastructure
  • Monitor and manage LAN/WAN networks, as well as connectivity between datacenters, sites, and extranets
  • Ensure network devices firmware and OS are up-to-date and apply/upgrade patches regularly
  • Utilize scripting (Python) to automate daily network tasks
  • Support, configure, and manage Cisco Routers and Switches, as well as event correlation appliances throughout infrastructure project phases
  • Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with Network Architects on network optimization efforts
  • Act as an escalation point for all network operations issues from all parties within the organization and manage related communications processes in real-time 24x7
  • Engage with business parties and external vendors to manage operations issues
  • Provide comprehensive product knowledge on required data technology to deliver and support network infrastructure
  • Manage and collaborate with external vendors such as carriers and cabling contractors for daily and project requirements
  • Closely coordinate and conform to Change Management policies, process, and procedures on any network changes
  • Maintain and update all network-related documentation and risk assessments as required
  • Execute IT projects related to existing infrastructure enhancements
