Job Title:

Business Development Insurance Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Insurance Advisor to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Commercial Lines Insurance, with a strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance policies, coverages, and products.
  • Familiarity with Independent Insurance Agency operations and quoting policies with major carriers is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key team member in the Commercial Lines Department, focusing on educating current clients and attracting new ones.
  • Provide proposals for agency producers, quote policies with top-rated carriers, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and markets.
  • Maintain COI, EOP, and homeowners insurance documentation, process claims, and make policy changes.

Requirements:

  • Excellent spoken and written English skills, with strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Persuasive communication skills to offer additional products where appropriate.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines, ensuring quality and compliance.
