Accounting Professional

FinStrat Management is seeking an experienced and skilled Accounting Professional to join our team.

This is a full-time remote role that requires the candidate to have a strong background in accounting operations and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in monthly financial close and related activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform account analysis and reconciliation, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing customers and processing payments.
  • Communicate and report to tax agencies, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Address client and third-party inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting, utilizing Microsoft Excel skills to create comprehensive reports.
  • Ensure assignments meet quality standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and communicate engagement matters to clients, managers, and partners, maintaining open and transparent communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Professional Knowledge:
  • Three+ years of professional accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial operations and reporting.
  • Proficiency with web-based accounting software applications, including invoicing and accounts payable management.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, utilizing advanced formulas and functions to analyze data.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Soft Skills:
  • Professional working proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Commitment to meeting critical business deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, able to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
Education:
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or requisite work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
