Job Summary

The Functional Architect is a senior Workday expert who provides strategic leadership across the full project lifecycle, from solution design through implementation delivery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Partner with sales and delivery teams to provide expert solutions guidance and support proposal creation.
  • Develop effort and budgetary estimations aligning to customer asks in line with opportunity winnability.
  • Support and guide the transition from sales to delivery, ensuring continuity of design intent and solution integrity.
  • Provide quality assurance oversight and thought leadership on in-flight implementations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across various Workday modules to ensure cohesive and aligned solution delivery.
  • Lead end-to-end functional solution design across multiple concurrent Workday implementations.
  • Drive and facilitate key client sessions to ensure robust solution design and client alignment.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in Workday solutions, including Financials, HCM, and/or Student modules.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with ability to drive complex projects forward.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Detailed understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
